DUCK LODGE INFORMATION
RATES PER NIGHT
Accommodation with continental breakfast included. Freshly baked bread, croissants, pain au raisin and pain au chocolat daily. Rates start from £165 per night for one person and £175 for two people. Luggage can be stored in Duck Store which is opposite Duck Lodge.
THE LODGE
Double bed with memory foam top mattress, Egyptian Cotton linen, Hypoallergenic Pillows, Sky TV, two radiators in the main area and one in the bathroom. There is a fridge, microwave and honesty bar located in Duck Store opposite the lodge. A first aid kit is located in the bathroom with an electric shower, Molton Brown toiletries, full length mirror, ultra fast wi-fi, tea and coffee, French Press with coffee provided, towels and two bathrobes, ironing board and iron, hairdryer, smoke alarm, alarm clock.
SECURITY
We have CCTV in operation within our property to protect ourselves, yourself and your car if left on the drive. We have one camera located at the entrance to Duck Lodge and the other at the entrance to the property. We cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage whilst staying at Duck Lodge but CCTV can assist in your personal claim if this was required. Footage is kept for 5 days only.
HONESTY BAR
We have provided a small selection of white and red wine, gin and tonic, cider, lager and soft drinks in the fridge for your consumption which is located in Duck Store opposite the log cabin with a price list. Please leave money in the box provided.
STORAGE
Opposite Duck Lodge is a large secure storage area for the likes of luggage, bikes, rucksacks and boots etc. To keep the Duck Lodge clean we kindly request shoes not to be to be worn inside and walking boots be left in Duck Store. A key will be provided for your own security.
BREAKAGES
Any damage to Duck Lodge or its contents are to be paid for on departure or will be charged to the card used for payment
SOUND SYSTEM
There is a Sonos system including Alexa in the Lodge – you can play any music or radio station of your choice as Duck Lodge has its very own Spotify account.
LODGE ACCESS
Once you have checked in, a key will be provided to gain access to Duck Lodge and a key for the side entrance of Stable Cottage.

BAGGAGE TRANSFER
If you are walking and require your baggage transferred from your previous nights stay or to your next point of call we are happy to offer this service within a 20 mile radius and the following fees apply per sector.
For 1 Bag £30, 2 Bags £35, 3-4 Bags £40
Note - If you are walking from Arundel or Houghton to Pyecombe then the rate is doubled
PANGDEAN GUEST
If guests are attending a function at Pangdean Farm we offer a transfer service to the event free of charge. It is recommended that you book a taxi for the return journey.
PETS
Unfortunately, we cannot allow animals in our premises
CYCLE HIRE
Why not venture out on a bike and explore the beautiful countryside. We work closely with Hassocks Cycle Hire and have a negotiated 10% discount. Please let me know if you would like us to reserve a bike for you.
SMOKING
Duck Lodge is smoke & Vape free and guests that would like to smoke as asked to do so off site and outside of the property grounds
